Hesco Mil Unit 2012
Rapid deployment,rapid recovery
The Concertainer unit from HESCO is already acknowledged as the most significant development in field fortification since WW2. Established in 1991, we’ve helped save countless lives and millions of dollars worth of equipment. We’re a vital component in force protection and we've changed the game in expeditionary operations.
Now,20 years on,were changing the game again:the all-new,completely recoverable 2012 HESCO Mil range.
The 2012 range of Mil units from HESCO has been developed in direct response to two increasingly important factors: the military’s increased commitment to environmental responsibility, and the rising costs of recovery of material after the cessation of conflict.
Deploy
Deploy the all-new HESCO range in exactly the same way as current Mil products. All previous sizes will be available in the 2012 range.
Recover
Once the mission is over, it’s simple to recover units for either disposal, storage or reuse. The units can be recovered fully intact and can be flat packed and stored for reuse or for transportation to a disposal site.
Dependent on the size of unit deployed and method of construction, certain units can be redeployed at a later date. This provides substantial reduction in logistical and environmental impact.
The all-new 2012 HESCO range provides the same high-specification welded mesh and geotextile as previous Mil units, but now all models feature a new design to provide
the ultimate in engineered force protection.
Specification
HESCO’s new design means that individual cells can be opened by removing one pin.

The unpinned panel allows fill material to flow easily from the cell. The fill material can then be removed by hand or using appropriate equipment.

Recovered units are packed flat for storage, possible reuse or removal to a suitable disposal facility.
